Oliver @ the North Fork Hostel & Inn

Hello Oliver,

It is the English guy called Simon who stopped at the hostel a couple of days during summer 2007, just beginning the Pacific Northwest Trail. I promised an email, so here it is!

The Pacific Northwest Trail was fantastic, some excellent views, and some parts had a really genuine wilderness feeling. I've attached a couple of photos for you to look at. I was lucky enough to see loads of wildlife, a few black bears and also a wolf (I didn't think about getting my camera out at either time) and a definite highlight was also the people I met. I started my second year at Chester University immediately after getting home in September and have just got settled back into the academic world.

I'm guessing your snowed under in Polebridge at the moment, wish I could be there to be honest. Hope you having a great time in the outback!
